I am located in Lincoln, NE. There wasn't much damage done to my own property: rust spots left on the carpet from where steel legs of furniture was, swelling of wood desk and bookshelf by water. Most of the damage is to his property, wall, carpet, padding, etc. I have recently moved out and he is charging me for cleaning up the damage caused by the flooding, when he knew of the problem since April. He would not talk to me about any of this, simply took the key from me and walked away as I was trying to talk to him. He wouldn't even take my new address and phone number to contact me about the deposit, or any other matters.
