I was evicted by BLDG mgmt in NYC (illegally ,without proper notification,etc) TWO YEARS ago.
Yesterday I recieved a letter stating that I owed them over 4,000 dollars for the remainder of
the lease from that apartment! What is up with that?????Can a landlord try to collect after they have thrown me out?
what are my rights in the situation???Incidentally BLDG is a very sleazy operation with far too many lawyers for their own good!
When I was evicted the Marshall failed to provide me with an inventory of my possesions (I was robbed of a watch ,some jewelry ,stereo equipment and cash!!!)

any advice suggestions etc.....
