Eviction notice re:State of Missouri

Posted by F. Clark on August 29, 1996 at 11:00:09:

Can anyone advise on the laws for eviction in Missouri, particularly in the Kansas City area? A friend has been given six days notice to vacate on the unfounded premise of harrassing neighbors. She was employed as Asst. Mgr. of leasing and quit her job, as she was told if she was fired she would have to move, therefore, she should quit her position and told she could remain a resident of the complex. She resigned her position and the next day was hand delivered a letter of eviction from management. There is no basis of the allegation that she was harrassing neighbors and she complied with their request to resign her position. Is this legal and have the necessary actions been taken for legal eviction? This woman is a single Mother of two children with limited financial ability. I am desperately seeking information to assist her. Thank you in advance for any advise you can offer!
