You are hooked into a web page in which the tenants are governed by a very delicate thing call ed rent stabilization. They may not be evicted from their apartments unless failing to pay rent or some other rare occurance. The leases must be renewed. The rent is increased very moderately each year. The rest of Manhattan, people get 30 days long and they can readily go to court and get extensions of sixty days or more.
