Hello,
I am currently in the state of Virginia and renting a townhouse. I signed the lease in September of last year. The next day I asked if I would be let out of it. The realtor said no. A month later I asked again and they said only if I pay two months rent and the secruity deposit. I couldn't afford the money upfront. I want to break the lease now for many reasons; not having enough money to live comfortabley; the awful realtors, one in particualar is haunting me making my life awful from the dishonesty and non fixing stuff not to mention unproffesionalism. Being almost 4 months into the lease and having a security deposit wrapped up in this awful mess, What should I say to the realtor to leave this situation or how should i approach this again?
