I live in Chicago and I am sick and tired of all the raves about hardwood floors. I have to deal with this 20 something yuppie couple upstairs stomping around in shoes and boots at all hours. When I complained they just stomp louder. The building is a large courtyard run by an outside management company who never return phone calls. They gave me a hard time about a credit check, finally let me in, and now this, even after I asks them if the building was quiet. I live on the first floor. Can I break this lease?
