After repeated requests, both written and oral, to repair a severe black mold problem infesting the heating system and entire back wall of my apartment and also to stop entering my apartment without notice, I write a letter telling my landlord, I considered my lease broken and I was leaving. She immediately served me with a Summons With Notice for the balance of the rent on the lease. Do I need an attorney or can I answer this myself?
