Yes, it was from Richard -- who's been banned from the board for many reasons. Without a lease, the landlord can give you a 30-day notice, but can't kick you out without going to court. You can always claim it's retaliation if you complained recently, which might give you an additional six months (see NYS Real Property Law). As for the heat, check the Heat Sheet on the web site. Do a search on the web site.
