I moved in with a friend (rent stabilized)...whom, after a month went on tour for 4 months. She is returning, everything (utilities, cable) is still in her name, her clothes, furniture etc. still here. The LL claims this is now a sublet and not a roomate situation and wants to start eviction. She has always had a roomate, but there is a new managing company now.
Can they evict.
