I think it one of two reasons, the super is in a union and that is part of the union contract,or

They have a limited amount of elevators, and since most people work during the week and 9-5, the elevators are empty.

: Hi, I live in NYC and I'm moving into a place on Feb 2nd, and I just found out from the Super of the building today that they'll only let me move in from M-F 9-6.

: I can't take a day off of work, and I've already got the equipment scheduled/helpers lined up....to move me in on Saturday....what should I do?

: What can they do to me if I just go ahead and move in anyway on the Saturday?
