Hello, I answered a roommate add to rent a room from someone(they are not the landlord). I geve him one months deposit. Two weeks later I changed my mind. I have asked for my money back but he is tellingme it is non-refundable. There was neve any lease or anthing signed regarding this. Do I have any rights to my money back? This is in New York City.
