The Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) has
opened an office at 80 Centre Street in Manhattan for Trial
Lawyers Care, its pro bono program to aid victims of the Sept.
11 attacks. The office, staffed by four attorneys and two
administrative employees, will coordinate attorneys who have
volunteered to represent eligible victims and their families for the
federal Sept. 11 compensation program.
