Hello. I'm living in a loft space in Brooklyn but am concerned that there are no fire exits at all. The windows in my apartment have grills on them which are fixed and do not allow means of escape, and the building itself does not have a fire escape of any kind. Are there regulations that landlords have to follow when it comes to such matters?
