Village Voice Online "Voice Mail" service - if you are online all day (or can be), this is an inexpensive and helpful service, particularly on Monday evening when most of Tuesday's listings are available to subscribers before the general public. Not only do you see the ads as they are posted (they email and notify you throughout the day), but on the aforementioned Monday evening you can get a researched game plan together to start fresh the next morning, as opposed to being suddenly confronted with a posted list in the middle of the day. It worked for me - I'm snug as a bug in a decent stabilized building, so far so good (so hopefully I won't have to post as much as I used to). Good luck!
