hi,

i am subleasing an apartment in a doorman building, landlord trying to evict tenant claiming an illegal sublet (rent stabilized), i stopped paying rent to tenant, tenant now threatens to have the doorman not let me in unless i send rent money by wednesday.

i believe the tenant did not send rent monies i paid her to landlord. in other words i think she is trying to squeeze extra money out of me before i am evicted anyway. can (and will) the doorman actually deny me entrance?
