I have recently leased one apartment in a two unit house in South Brooklyn. I have a years lease but am supposed to pay for gas heat and electric. The Heating units are not steam they are gas heat... One blows from the side of the stove would you believe. They keep the place warm but I am concerned about their legality and their safety. Can anyone provide me with some information about gas heaters and how I should proceed?
