You shouldn't use your name, address, and phone number, or the landlord's name and address, in this forum.

Did the co-op landlord have prior knowledge of the plumbing problem? If not, you may be out of luck in recovering for damage to your property.

However, you should be entitled to a rent abatement, especially for the long period of time you couldn't use your living room.

And I hate to sound like the infamous Richard, but renter's or co-op insurance would have helped
you to recover most of your loss, over and above the deductible.
