I live in a prewar tennament 18 unit walk up. Rent Stabilized. I have a written lease. I've filed an HP action against my landlord for lack of services. Over the last two months the super has been fixing all the violations. They're still not finished fixing everything! I haven't paid rent for 7 months. I do have the rent but would like to get an abatement. What would be the next step for me to go back to the judge and just ask for one or do I need to wait until I get an eviction notice first before I can do this?
