You now have 4 tenants named on the lease. You can have 4 roommates move in if you want to, and their families. To answer your question yes you are allowed to have a roommate move in and you do not need the LLs permission. Just sign a roommate agreement and don't cherge him/her more than 1/5 of the rent. You may advise LL of the name of this new roommate, or within 30 days of the LL's asking.
