Posted by keith on December 02, 2001 at 07:41:47:

Hi,i've lived in this apartment for close to 20yrs. I just received court papers to respond to yesterday,Dec.1,2001. The petition was for Oct.12,2001. This petiton was sent to my resent address to-which i,never use because i, pay for a postal mail box. As it turns out i,thought to check this resident box(which is aother story)and there is this box full of mail.Is there anything i can do at this point? my rent is $774.00 monthly nonpayment for $1409.48 Which is no big deal to pay. I,live in Far-rockaway,N.Y.,garden apartment,aprox.56,familys per bld. buildt sometime maybe in 1930's - 1940's rent stabilized.
