I dont see what the problem is.....it seems you have a girl who DIDNT get a 5 or 6 month extension in writing, so she is a month to month tenant, the landlord filed bankruptcy, and a strange man said he is the new owner...probably a scam......

What if the landlord gives her a 30 day notice or the bankruptcy judge, or the new owner ...so she might as well be thinking about this today.

So what is the best advice......get out of there quick.....she has NOT paid rent in 2 months...so one month could be her security, but now she would be considered a holdover...not good.

So she should start looking this weekend for a new place to live asap!, and if she has not paid rent in 2 months hopefully she still has some money left, IF NOT then no xmas presents is the most CONSERVATIVE appoach to the financial costs of moving deposits installation fees ,lost days from work....

How on earth is that bad advice?

And the other guy late 2 months with a rent stabilzed lease...the landlord will harasss him into leaving since its an immediate 20% increase in rent, and more if its rennovated

How to stop the Harassment AND look good in front of a Judge?.......PAY DECEMBERS RENT A WEEK EARLY!!!!!!

This is a very conservative approach to solving the problems.

: At the very least, could you delete his messages?
