you seem to be mistaken and dont know the facts, every time i tried ot talk to my LL she became hositle and argumentative, she refused to fix our doorbell, mailbox, radiators etc. told me if im so concerned about the mail get a po box, threw out all my personal property in the basement b/c it "didnt belong there" with no advance notice etc..

so its not on me, i wouldve gladly painted..if she even mentioned it, not only that the 'damage' were taling about is a 6"x6" square, for which she painted the entire hallways of both floors and charged me 1100 dollars.
so you might not want to jump to conclusions mr.knowitall.
