I live in Apartment building. The building has 2 apartments per floor. Unfortunately the LL leaves on the same floor as me. We have 3 bedrooms, and one bedroom is bordering the 2 apartments. Now he wants to take the room that is bordering his apartment by renovating it. He said he will try to reduce some rent for taking one of the bedrooms. Is this legal? Our lease expires in June. What can we do if we say no to him?
