First and foremost, to the original poster, why did you post this question? Are you trying to figure out if where you're at is an illegal sublet? There are ways to find out without asking the Landlord about it.

: Billions and billions. If you're thinking of renting out your apt that way, or moving into an apartment that way, my adivce would be don't do it.
