i dont' know how much this varies from state to state, but the LL must provide a livable space for the tenant for the duration of the lease. in the case of repairs to a property, the LL is required to put you up somewhere else in the meantime. the whole tenant-LL contract is about a person providing living quarters to another person, so if one space has been condemned, the LL has to find you another. maybe you can make a deal with her and get out of the lease and find another place.
