I'm a tenant in Jakobson properties, and it has been nothing but hell since the day that my roommates and I moved in. Want an example? We had a gas leak for over 4 months, but when we called Jakobson's maintenance people -- repeatedly, numerous times -- they came to the apartment and only checked the pilot light on the stove, and said nothing was wrong. Our situation persisted for 5 months, with no competent response on Jakobson's part EVER. Finally, we called Con Edison, and they came over to shut off our gas, as they found a leak in the wall.

This is just one of our complaints. Jakobson has ignored us, patronized us, and tortured us with unsafe living conditions for our entire tenure. When we decided we needed to break lease and move elsewhere, Jakobson Sr. met with us and proceded to curse us out and kick us out of his office.

What kind of treatment is this? BEWARE OF JAKOBSON!!!
