You've given plenty of notice, however you are responsible for the rent until the owner finds a replacement tenant. You can help the owner do this, and minimize the amount you would owe, by offering to let him show your apartment to prospective renters. You might also talk to him, he may be willing to just sign a statement releasing you from the lease on your move out date (and thus obligating him to return your deposit.) Just ask.
