I just recently moved into a 2-bedroom apartment in the West Village. I am paying $800 for my portion even though my roommate's room is three times the size of mine. I am under the impression that I am paying more than she is because 1) she hardly works 2) she shops and goes out a lot 3) her parents arne't helping her out.

How can I find out what our rent is so I can determine if I am paying for her high-maintenance lifestyle? I can't ask her because I've tried to find out before without success so I'm thinking she is trying to hide somethig from me.
