Excuse me, but the only reason I am temporarily not in the apartment which is A) not rent controlled, but rent stabilized, and B) as much as I can afford is that my mother has had a serious operation and cannot afford the round the clock care that she needs. I certainly hope to be able to return to my apartment as soon as she recovers, and as it's only been a few months I hardly think this qualifies as warehousing. Thank you for letting me know that you feel it will be an expensive battle for me but I would hope there might be some recourse against the egregious greed of my landlord. Please hold your resentment for others actually doing illegal or greedy things.
