HP-Action

Posted by Gary on October 09, 2001 at 13:14:23:

I live in Manhattan in a rent stabilized apartment under a two year lease right now. There are 18 units in my building. It's prewar. Today, I went to court and my slumlord didn't show up. So, now the judge is giving him 20 days to fix a lot of problems in my apartment that can not all be fixed in 20 days. If the Slumlord calls me to make an arrangement to come by but doesn't fix everything I claimed then should I still continue with my action? I'm really tired of waiting on my landlord when he makes small efforts to do anything for this building.
