landlords entering the property is a common problem, esp in NY where there is no strict law to keep them out. but what are all these realtors doing, showing your apartment when you have nearly nine months left on the lease?? are people looking to rent it after you? if the LL was selling the building that'd be a different story. but you should know about that if that's the case. the amendment in your lease is a nice thing to have but the bottom line is, you have a contract that says you will be there until june 2002, so those realtors are just spinning their wheels needlessly (unless the LL is selling).
by all means talk to your lawyer. nobody should have to deal with a plague of realtors from the day they sign a lease. realtors should come in when the lease is about to end (or after). the whole thing sounds kinda fishy, no?
