WRONG.

Why do so many people here assert that month to month tenants have 'no rights'? They have the same rights under law as any tenant.

The fact is that some tenants have good reasons to prefer the flexibility of a month to month agreement, and some landlords want that flexibility too. Not everyone's needs are met by a standard one year lease. And the type of lease does not affect anyone's rights.
