Yes a first question is how long can you stay in the co-op?

Most co-op's HATE renters, so most have rules saying you can only rent for a year or 2 and no renewals....

Most co-ops HATE renters, so if a owner has a parking space, can a tenant park in it?

Most co-ops HATE renters, so does it have a pool, gym, community room etc, and can a tenant use them?

those are the kind of things to ask

: My husband and I are about to apply for a rental apt. in a co-op building in mid-town NYC. The agent we are dealing with is away for a few days, and in the meantime we'd like to get going collecting the necessary papers we might need. Is there a general "list" of items we should be preparing? Also, is there anything/any key questions we should be asking the agent and/or the co-op board prior to moving in? We want to make sure we know what we're getting into!
: Thanks,
: Jill
