I almost lost my apartments last year and just by a chance encounter I was able to find a really bright young attorney who is not that expensive and who I consider to be a genius and very much a tenant's rights advocate.
I am in no way trying to promote him but he has saved my skin bigtime (I haven't paid rent since December, he got me a rent overcharge judgement for $311,000 against my landlord, etc.
If you told him about your predicament he would at the leasst give you some free advice, feel free to contact me if you would like his phone number and good luck,
