What does the lack of closets have to do with it? Not to be mean, but why did you rent it in the first place if it doesn't have enough closet space? If the building is really old, that's just how they were built-people didn't have a lot of clothes back then; if it's a newly renovated apt you're in that only has 1 closet, that's just poor design. Could be that one of the bedrooms is really the dining room, or that in order for there to be enough space for a decent sized 2nd bedroom there wasn't enough space for a proper closet. Get an Armoir or a clothes rack. People live in lofts with no closets all the time. I just sold a 9 room apartment in a 1908 bldg (4 bedrooms plus a library) that had 4 closets in the entire apartment and 2 of them were hall closets.
