Have you talked with the LL about putting it on the lawn? I think the main reason the sign is being put on the place you're at is to indicate to prospective renters that YOUR place is the one up for grabs, not the LL's.

: I was wondering if my landlord has the right to place a FOR RENT sign on my porch. It disrupts the beauty of my living space on the porch. There is a front yard that would be perfect for the sign, or it could be placed on the landlord's side of the porch. I will be living at this apartment for 6 more weeks. I want the hideous sign relocated. What are my right's?? Please help! Living in rural Cobleskill, NY (duplex house, 1/2 mine & 1/2 the LL side by side)
