Thanks for the clarification. One more clarification concerning the following:

A month-to-month tenancy may be terminated by either party by
giving at least one month notice before the expiration of the
term.

So our month to month begin on the 17th of the month. Today is the 19th. We disagree to their term and they decide to reposses the apartment. From my understanding of the above that mean the earliest they can reposses is the 17th of September? That would be one month past the expiration of the term. Am I correct in believing this.

I am more than willing to move out of this place where they have 4 cameras capturing your every move. Remember this is only a 2 story flat. They even dare to call us up to tell us that they have not observed us doing our laundry ( we have been just late at night, not the usual weekend time we were doing them)! I smell a big invasion of privacy here. Maybe when they reposses I file a criminal charge against them.
