Can a person be evicted from a rent stabalized apt.?

Posted by gettingtherunaround on July 14, 2001 at 20:31:17:

I was told that I need a guarantor today even though I make 50X monthly rent because conceivably I could owe more unlimited rent to them if I don't pay rent and don't move out because I couldn't be evicted. Is that true? Is it impossible (literally) to evict somebody from a rent stabalized apt.?

Thanks
