I just said that a LL doesn't have to issue cause to evict someone. That's not entirely accurate, it only applies to my situation, which is a month to month tenancy.

Also in terms of repairs, I can invoke the Warranty of Habitability but I saying that the LL is responsible for certain repairs because he agreed to make them just before or just after I moved in won't do anything for me, because I've been here 13 months and oral agreements that are over 12 months old are unenforceable under the statute of limitations.
