I haven't read any of the other posts--I see there is a dispute about them--because I don't think it matters.
You shouldnt be going to the Internet for advice. You are getting evicted and you need to see a lawyer. Period. My non-legal opinion is that it is obviously retaliatory and that it MAY be a defense against your eviction, even though ordinarily you can be kicked out for any or no reason when you dont ahave a lease.
But what I think doesn't matter. Get a lawyer.
