hey

i have used this site to help me legally sublet my apt. this year. it's a great site. thanks!!

unusual circumstance..my sublet ends in sept. a month ago my subtenant requested to stay a bit longer and that works for me and my out of town work so we requested an extension, last week we recieved consent. two days ago my subtenant lost her job and is unable to meet the extension commitment, my circumstances haven't changed and i need a subtenant for 5 more months. is it as easy as finding another subtenant and going through the application process again, step by step?

my landlord is a lawyer so i have had to be very detailed in my sublet request. i have a written lease, building is prewar, at least 30 units in building....

any help would be greatly appreciated as i have to move quickly and i am out of state working at this time.
