Telling her to leave in 2 days or 7 days is great, but if she doesn't leave by then you can't force her to, or change the locks or do anything to forceably evict her. Nor will the police remove her. You must serve her with 30 day notice to terminte month to month tenancy. You have to start holdover proceedings if she hasn't moved out after the 30 days are up. LL has no reason to accept rent from her-there is no landlord-tenant relationship there. Don't do anything stupid that could get you into trouble - be as rude to her as you like, but do not attempt to deny her access to the apartment. The only way to legally evict someone who has lived somewhere for 30 days or longer is thru the courts.
