until i got to the last part of your post i thought you'd be in for a lotta hassle. but knowing this 'subletter' isn't on any kind of lease, everything's a lot simpler now. i'm not sure how she's subleasing form your roommate if he's still there, but the bottom line is you and your roomie have your names on the lease; the subletter is basicallya long-term guest and has absolutely no power over you. she could pursue the $100 rent thing, but that seems to be another matter entirely (which she seems to be using against yr roommate as blackmail). she's just trying to work whatever angle she can so she doesn't have to move out. but when Aug 15th rolls around, you'll be outta there and she won't be your problem at all anymore.
