there is no reason why the leaseholders have to give up an apartment due to a falling out with a subletter. Leaseholders are legally entitled to stay in apt. Subletter is not entitled to any rights to the apartment. How much she pays in rent and for how long is irrelevant. Subletter overstayed welcome -- Not binding in court. Leaseholders should keep the apartment and put the subletter out. Happy ending.
