Rent Freeze? Fuhgettaboutit. Increases no one's happy about...

Let's face it -- the increases were coming, no matter what the number. 4 and 6 percent this time, not the 3 and 5 percent that was originally being thrown around.

It's not so much people not getting off their collective butts. People were out there, tenants and landlords and advocates for both sides. In the end, tenants still pay, and landlords still complained they didn't get enough.

Maybe tenants need to look into who is looking to protect tenant interests when these politicians hit the stands for the Governor and Mayoral races. I laugh about Mark Green, because although he seems to have a good record, he doesn't really care for the common man. I met him. He did not impress me as someone who cares beyond his next appointment. New York's in trouble folks.
