Our lease contract ended June 1. It's now June 15 and the landlord is asking for a new lease. Terms haven't been discussed, but I'd like to know my options if we do not agree on a month to month. The lease was for a year and we paid first, last, and security as required by most renters in MA. They did cash the check for what was presumably our last month (May) so I assume we have at least till July 1 before we must leave since we already paid last months rent? Does this hold true?
