Not the best way to go about it. not worth the hassle of a court case, but I feel your pain! LL will use the same terrible paint and you'll need another paint job in 2 years. DO you really want to go thru this again so soon? I ended up painting my own apartment because of the same situation. LL finally agreed to credit me for the cost of the paint, tape, brushes, drop cloths, etc. and I bought really good EXPENSIVE paint. The result was worth it not to have the awful chalky LL paint and a lousy paint job. I did it over a weekend, my friends helped and it looks fantastic. I recomend Benjamin Moore Aqua Pearl.
