If a judge ordered you to pay by a certain day and you don't, a warrant of eviction will probably be issued and then you'll have about 72hrs: Yes, you could have 5 days, if you're a gamblin' sort of person who would gamble on being HOMELESS. On warrant of eviction, when the marshall shows up at your apartment it'll be EVERYBODY OUT!

If you have other people living there with you, family or not, especially an infant, this is something you should have mentioned in court. Did you bring this up to the judge? Were any of these people part of this case?

About an infant: The marshall may not care, but then he might: If the marshall believes that as a result of this eviction the parents are now homeless, he might contact dept of social services which may mean taking the child and placing him/her in foster care.
