clause 25 of the lease agreement says:

25. RULES: Use of the parking area, and any other such common areas as may be provided is subject to such rules as Owner/Agent may from time to time establish. These rules may, in addition to other restrictions, limit the number of vehicles from this apartment unit which may use the common parking area.

Now our understanding of this is that it does not allocate or NOT allocate SPECIFIC parking to us. the parking for our place is understood to be divided so that every unit has at least one space, so "common area" does not mean there's one big space and its everyone for themselves. How we interpreted this is was under the belief that we had those 2 spots and that our "use of the parking area (our parking area)...as may be provided" was in fact provided. the clause states "as Owner/Agent may from time to time establish." to us, the landlord established that we would have the two spots, not in writing perhaps, but verbally and repeatedly, AND most importantly, not contradicted in the lease contract.

hope that provides more information.
