if you won't have to pay for any electricity until this is over, it sort of balances out. it's annoying, but you have to pick your battles. this realtor/managing agent is no doubt full of it, but there's no arguing with people like that. you'd have to take it to court and it would rapidly become not worth it.

is the report thing something related to that guy coming out and inspecting stuff? looks like they were trying to take some shortcuts with the re-wiring process. i hate it when LL's get angry at tnenats for stuff that's wrong with the apartment. but in this town ...

so unless you wanna get into a whole big thing with these people, just bite the bullet and pay. if you're lucky this will be the only major utility problem for this place.
